JenniferJennifer always wanted to achieve the status of a multi-tasking superstar. As a child Jennifer was fond of a variety of genres of music, mainly Afro-Caribbean musics like merengue, salsa, and bachata. Also, she was a fan of mainstream music , like hip-hop as well as pop and R&B. Even though she was an avid music lover but the world of film also attracted her. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Alongside being a talented entertainment artist, Jennifer had also been a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years of a Catholic primary school known as Holy Family located at The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls preschool, Preston High School after a four-year stay. Jennifer performed well in the sports department throughout her school years and played the track and field, tennis and volleyball. The Castle Hill neighbourhood was her place of residence for the bulk of her life. Jennifer was forced to leave her house at age was 18 and moved in with her parents. Lopez was able to work in a law firm in this time, while engaging in dancing during the night.
